Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of The ICSI Successfully Conducts Full Day Seminar on “Corporate Compliance 2026 and NCLT Practice”
Rongili Barta: The Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of The ICSI successfully conducted a Full Day Seminar on “Corporate Compliance 2026: From Regulatory Updates to Practical Readiness & NCLT Practice – A Practical Walkthrough from Drafting & Filing of Applications/Petitions to Scrutiny, Replies, Submissions and Final Hearings” on Saturday, 12th September 2026, at the premises of the Siliguri Chapter.
The Seminar focused on contemporary developments in corporate compliance and provided Members and Students with practical insights into regulatory updates, annual filing preparedness and professional practice before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
CS Shikha Gupta, Practicing Company Secretary from Kolkata, graced the occasion as an esteemed Speaker and delivered an insightful session on “Companies Act Compliance 2026: Recent Amendments & Annual Filing Readiness – From Regulatory Updates to Practical Compliance.” Her session provided valuable perspectives on recent developments under the Companies Act and practical approaches towards ensuring compliance and annual filing readiness.
The Seminar also featured CS Nikhil Jain Gangwal, Former Chairman & Managing Committee Member, Guwahati (NE) Chapter of EIRC of The ICSI and Practicing Company Secretary from Guwahati, who delivered an informative and practice-oriented session on “Appearing Before NCLT: Practical Exposure & Professional Insights for Company Secretaries.” The session offered participants valuable insights into the practical aspects of NCLT proceedings and the professional role of Company Secretaries in handling applications and petitions.
CS Saptasikha Jhampati, Chairperson, Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of The ICSI, welcomed the dignitaries, Speakers and participants and set the tone for an engaging and enriching professional learning programme.
