Youth must concentrate on informed investing, not trading: Shri Vijay Kedia. Royal Global University hosts Market Master, Individual Investor and TEDX Speaker. 

Guwahati,Rongili Barta-  Market Master, Individual Investor and TEDX Speaker Sri Vijay Kedia, urged youth and particularly the student community to focus on making informed financial decisions instead of getting influenced or swayed by opinions of others.  He was speaking at a session moderated by Mr. Pallav Bagaria, Director, Sapient Finserv Pvt. Ltd. on the 20th of September, 2024 at The Assam Royal Global University. 

Throwing light upon the means to access reports of performance of companies before investing, he reminded the audience of the famous quote, “Rome was not built in a day”, adding that “however, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in less than one day”, emphasizing that patience played a foundational role in making money instead of earning money. Identifying himself as a ‘Work In Progress’, the renowned investor shared the hack of investing in a company only when it was inflection point as a primary tool for gaining substantial returns in this sphere.

Dr. A.K. Pansari, Chancellor, Royal Global University, threw light upon the importance of such informative sessions as the need of the hour to drive the youth towards sustainable and financially secure future. Prof. M.K. Chaudhuri, Advisor-Royal Global University, Mr. Ankur Pansari, Executive Vice President, Prof. YSR Murthy, Vice Chancellor-Royal Global University, senior members and students of the Royal School of Commerce and Royal school of Business participated in the session.

In his welcome remarks, Mr. Utpal Kanta, Director, Growth and Strategy, observed Sri Kedia’s journey was not only an exemplary portrayal of sound financial wisdom and knowledge that could guarantee success, but also one of mental resilience and perseverance.
