Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of The ICSI Organises Seminar on Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026
Rongili Barta:The Siliguri Chapter of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) successfully organised a Half Day Seminar on “Understanding the Corporate Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026: A Comprehensive Analysis” at its Chapter premises on Saturday, 18th April 2026.
The Seminar featured CS Manohar Mishra, Insolvency Professional; Registered Valuer (SFA); Practicing Company Secretary; and Vice-Chairman of the Hooghly Chapter of EIRC of The ICSI, as the esteemed Speaker. He delivered an insightful and comprehensive session, providing in-depth analysis and practical perspectives on the proposed amendments in corporate laws, which was highly appreciated by the participants.
CS Saptasikha Jhampati, Chairperson of the Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of The ICSI, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the importance of staying updated with evolving corporate regulatory frameworks.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from Company Secretaries and students, including CS Vineet Kumar Agarwal, Chapter Secretary; CS Manish Agarwal, Treasurer; and CS Vikash Mittal, Former Chairman of the Siliguri Chapter, along with several other members of the profession.
The Seminar was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Apoorba Paul, a dedicated CS Student, ensuring the smooth conduct of the programme.
