Ramen Deka, Co- Vice Chairman reviews development schemes of Baksa
Dispur, January 3: State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), Co- Vice Chairman Ramen Deka chaired a review meeting regarding development of aspirational district Baksa at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Baksa today. In the meeting Sri Deka emphasised on the proper implementation of schemes and to undertake innovative measures to benefit the people. Co-Vice Chairman said the Fishery department should try to keep more species as it also benefit the environment. He asked the Agriculture department to take up the issue of ineligible PM Kishan Samman Nidhi beneficiaries to lodge an FIR to which he said that the government can’t be a silent spectator. He further advised them to develop a mechanism to do a screening. He advised the Handloom and Textile department to create block level cluster and prepare a project to which he said SITA will provide necessary assistance. DICC were asked to boost up start up programme and give more emphasis on value added jobs. He asked the officials of DRDA to monitor the financial assistance given for the purpose to SHG’s and also suggest to share the innovative idea with the beneficiaries to generate more income. Sri Deka emphasised the need to create Skill Development avenues such as electrician and plumbering and to create for such skill centres in collaboration with Govt. of India. The Co-Vice Chairman also reviewed the works of Forest department, Health & Family Welfare, A.H & AT etc. The meeting was attended by Sri A. Amin, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sri G.G Das, Advisor (F & A) SITA, officials of SITA and all heads of department of Baksa.
