Chief Minister meets Governor; briefs him of government schemes
Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma met Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi at Raj Bhavan today and apprised him of the prevailing situation that the state is going through.
The Chief Minister briefed the Governor of different Central and State government projects being implemented in the state. He also drew his attention to some other projects that are lined up to upscale the development of the state and welfare of its people. Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah was also present during the meeting.
