Minutes of Discussion Meeting Regarding the Context of the Results of the 2024 High School Examination by the Dibrugarh District Administration

Hashim Ali, Dibrugarh, Rongili Barta : Recently announced results of the high school examination saw 100 percent of students passing and 90 percent achieving above, leading to commendation letters being awarded to government and district-affiliated schools. The initiative of all schools in Dibrugarh district and the cooperation of the Dibrugarh district administration were appreciated by the District Commissioner Bikram Kairi. At the meeting of district-level government and district-affiliated high and higher secondary school principals and administrators, held in connection with the recently announced results of the 2024 high school examination, it was decided that a significant deliberation meeting was held today at district library. In this deliberation meeting, among other things, to brighten the names of the districts based on the performance of the 100 percent passing students in the recently announced 2024 high school examination, letters of commendation were awarded to 21 government and district-affiliated schools. Additionally, in recognition of the performance of the 90 percent above passing students, medals were awarded to 31 government and district-affiliated schools by the Dibrugarh district administration and the district education department.Moreover, it was emphasized in the meeting that efforts should be made to improve the performance of all schools in the upcoming high school examinations, not only by the principals and administrators but also by the district administration. It was noted that schools capable of achieving improved results play a crucial role in the overall development of students’ educational outcomes. The district administration, along with all principals and administrators present, reiterated their commitment to ensuring quality education, emphasizing that teachers must strive to fulfill their duties with utmost dedication to ensure that students do not suffer academically. Additionally, it was mentioned that it is the responsibility of the upcoming generations to strengthen the foundation of the country and society through quality education. Therefore, it was urged that schools that fail to achieve improved results in the upcoming high school examinations should make every effort to improve their educational performance in the future.The meeting was attended by Dr Samiran Borah, Inspector of Schools, Dibrugarh district including the Additional Commissioner (Education) Sanghamitra Boruah, President and Secretary of the District Education Council  Mr Mohan Lal Upadhyay, and Ekalavya Sonowal from the district education department.
