Successful Celebration of Women’s Day by Siliguri Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India

Rongili Barta- The Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of ICSI successfully celebrated Women’s Day at Siliguri Chapter on 16th March 2024. The day was marked by a Full Day Seminar focusing on ‘Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016’ and ‘Recent Changes in Income Tax’, which proved to be enlightening and enriching for all attendees.

The Siliguri Chapter was honored to have esteemed women professionals, CS Manisha Sharma from Guwahati and CA Kirti Singhal from Siliguri, as distinguished Speakers. Their insights and expertise added immense value to the seminar, providing attendees with valuable knowledge and insights into the intricacies of the subjects discussed.

The Siliguri Chapter was highly privileged of having Smt. Archana Sharma, Principal of H. B. Vidyapith and a prominent social worker, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Her presence and words of encouragement motivated everyone present. Additionally, the Chapter was honored to have CS Rupanjana De, Central Council Member of ICSI, and CS (Dr.) Mohit Shaw, Chairman of EIRC of ICSI, who joined through online mode and shared their valuable insights.

The event commenced with a warm Welcome Address delivered by CS Vikash Mittal, Chairman of Siliguri Chapter. CS Pallavi Bhagat efficiently coordinated the programme and conveyed the formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all involved in making the event a success.

CS Pragya Jaiswal and CS Surabhi Paul introduced the Chief Guest and Speakers. The Siliguri Chapter also took the opportunity to felicitate esteemed Chief Guest and Speakers in the Programme who were felicitated by the CS Members including CS Neerupama Kabra, Past Chairperson on behalf of Siliguri Chapter.

The celebration concluded on a joyous note with the cutting of a cake, symbolizing the appreciation for the remarkable achievements and contributions of women in the Society. Various CS Members attended the Event.
