SITA signs Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with GMCH
“Survey of Post Covid Impact”

Dispur, Rongili Barta- Today SITA have signed Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati to execute the project “ Survey of Post-covid Impact” in collaboration with State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), Assam with respective terms and conditions. On behalf of SITA, Chief Executive Officer Sri M.S.Manivannan, IAS signed the MoA and by Prof. (Dr.) Achyut Ch. Baishya, Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent,GMCH, Guwahati on behalf of Gauhati Medical College &  Hospital, Guwahati in the presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chairman Sri Ramen Deka and officials of SITA in the office chamber of the Vice- Chairman at Block A, Janata Bhawan, Dispur. Hon’ble Vice-Chairman Ramen Deka hopes that the projects will be successful in understanding COVID-19 related distress and psychiatric disorders developed by some patients infected with the virus. This project is aiming to (i) assess the prevalence of post-COVID-19 syndromes, (ii) assess the functional status, (iii) assess the stress level and (iv) assess the psychiatric morbidity. The ceremony was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Deepanjali Medhi, Professor & Head of Department of Psychiatry, G.G Das, Advisor(F & A), D.S Hazari, ARO, Dipankar Bora, LO and other officials of SITA.
