Governor attends 11th EXCEED occupational Health Safety and Security awards
Guwahati: Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi attended the 11th EXCEED Occupational Health Safety and Security Awards and Conference 2021 organized by Sustainable Development Foundation; A unit of Ek Kaam Desh Ke Naam here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that there are certain NGOs in the nation that are exclusively dedicated to serve the society and humanity. The Indian society corroborates the very fact that Indians never expect each and everything from Govt. Instead, they make sure that they do their bit to serve the society.
Prof. Mukhi also said that in India religious institutions have been playing a pivotal role for the welfare of the people. They work hard to serve the public and make sure that the public get the results that they are aiming for.
Hailing the efforts of the organization, the Governor said that the NGO is doing great for the betterment of poor through their welfare work. It is also doing monumental services for the society by planting trees. He said that there are various laws and regulations for the safety of work force but there is lot to be done in generating awareness of the people about their own rights. So he urged the NGOs to educate the section of people about their rights.
President of the organization Ek Kaam Desh ke Naam Rajiv Babbar along with a host of other dignitaries were present in the function.
