Competition Commission of India organises Advocacy Programme at Lok Bhavan
Guwahati,Rongili Barta: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) organised an Advocacy Programme under the State Resource Person (SRP) Scheme at Lok Bhavan, Assam.
The programme was attended by Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor Meenakshi Sundaram along with officers and staff of Lok Bhavan.
During the programme, former Chairman cum MD Assam police housing corporation Umesh Kumar discussed in detail the roles and responsibilities of the Competition Commission of India and former bureaucrat Tanuj Goswami presented a PowerPoint presentation, explaining the objectives and key aspects of competition law and the role of the CCI.
The programme aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding of competition-related issues among the officers and staff.
Contractors, suppliers and vendors also attended the programme.
