BJP to begin facilitating sale of the tricolour from 7 August across mandals.

Guwahati,Rongili Barta-  In order to involve all the citizens of the country in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh have started extensive programmes. As a part of this programme, former Central minister and Senior leader of the Party, Smt Bijaya Chakraborty inaugurated the Tricolour sale facilitation center in the premises of the Atal Behari Vajpayee Bhawan in Hengarabari. Such sale centers will commence in each organisational district office and zonal office of the Bharatiya Janata Party from 7 August 2022. Post inauguration of the sale center, the senior leader of the party vowed to indulge in tune with the call of the Prime Minister for strengthening peoples’ sentiments towards the Tricolour .The leader was also all praises about Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma for adopting the necessary measures in facilitating available of the tricolour across districts in the State. In the Tricolour sale center inauguration ceremony today, Vice President of the party Bijulee Kalita and Ashok Bhattarai; Mayor of Guwahati, Mrigen Sarania; Vice Mayor, Smita Roy Das; President of the OBC Morcha, Ashwini Rai Sarkar; Chairperson of the Mahila Morcha, Angurlata Deka; Chairperson of the Morcha, Moon Swarnakar; Senior leader Prafulla Bora, Convener of Media Cell, Dewan Dhrubajyoti Maral; State Spokespersons Pankaj Borbora and Rajib Kumar Sarma; along with many others were present.

It is notable that with an intention of associating every citizen with the “Azadi Amrit Mahotsav”, the party has taken up extensive programmes. From 7 August 2022 to 12 August 2022, the party’s workers will conduct an awareness campaign among the new generations about the freedom struggle through street plays, cycle rallies and processions in various regions of the state. On 12 August, the party worker’s are scheduled to conduct a rally from early morning and inspire the people to hoist the tricolour in their residences from 13 August to 15 August.
