Bharat Bhushan Dev Choudhury sworn in as the State Chief Information Commissioner
Guwahati, August 6: Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office to Bharat Bhushan Dev Choudhury as State Chief Information Commissioner at a solemn function held at the conference hall of Lok Bhavan here today.
Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Dr. Ravi Kota sought the permission of the Governor to start the proceedings of the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended among others by State Information Commissioner, AIC Dr. Reep Hazarika, State Information Commissioner Utpal Baruah, Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor SS Meenakshi Sundara, Commissioner and Secretary, ARTPPG Deptt Dr. Patibandla Ashok Babu and a host of senior officers of the government.
