Assam Governor meets CEM and EMs of NCHAC
Assures all help for the development of the Council
Guwahati, Rongili Barta- Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa along with other members of the NCHAC met Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria at Raj Bhavan . During the meeting, they discussed several issues ranging from women literacy to development of cottage industry. Kataria said that as the land has a bamboo reserve, they should make it a major industry and concentrate on value addition to the bamboos. The Governor said that considering the potential of the bamboo the Council can create many jobs through the industry. The Governor also asked CEM, NCHAC and other EMs to work hard to meet the expectations of the people. At the same time he also assured that Raj Bhavan, Assam will always be available to help Dima Hasao Autonomous Council for the development of the areas falling under NCHAC.
