My Bharat National NSS Awardees call on Governor
Feat of the awardees will act as a source of inspiration to the youth: Governor
Guwahati,Rongili Barta: My Bharat National NSS Awardees Dr. Bhuban Chandra Chutiya, Shri Priyanuj Hazarika, and Smt. Doli Choudhury paid a courtesy visit to Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Lok Bhavan.
It may be noted that the awardees were conferred with the prestigious ‘My Bharat National NSS Award 2022–23’ by the Hon’ble President of India at a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on October 6, 2025, in recognition to their exemplary contributions to community service and nation-building through the National Service Scheme (NSS).
During the interaction, Governor Shri Acharya congratulated the awardees and lauded their dedication to social service. He said that the commitment and energy of the youth play a pivotal role in shaping an inclusive and progressive society. Appreciating their achievements, the Governor said, “Their work stands as a shining example of service, discipline, and social responsibility, which will inspire many young people to actively contribute to national development”.
