ALCHERINGA- PLEDGE TO PERSIST  

Guwahati,Rongili Barta- Alcheringa’23 is back with its 27th edition, presented by Borthakur’s IAS  Academy and connected by Gplus. The festival is associated with The Assam Tribune,  Sparx, and Prag News, powered by SBI, trusted by Manik Chand, styled by Killer and  consulted by NE Social. It is the most significant cultural festival in North-East India.  The theme of this year’s festival is “Pledge to Persist,” which showcases the courage to  stand against every downfall. The festival will take place from 2nd February to 5th  February and will celebrate youth and creativity. The festival will include 80+ events, 40+  competitions, pronites, pro-shows, informal activities, and the highly anticipated Creator’s  Camp. Musical sensations Vishal-Sheykhar and The Yellow Diary will also perform at the  festival.  Alcheringa is also dedicated to giving back to the community as the largest festival in  North-East India. The festival has undertaken numerous campaigns, such as Aikyam, which  raises awareness about brotherhood and Udaan, which provides underprivileged students  with opportunities to succeed.  The festival aims to celebrate cultural diversity across borders and participants from all over  India and other parts of the world are expected to attend. The Creator’s Camp will host some  of the top creators from different sectors and there will be a range of informal activities to  ensure everyone has a good time.  The Director of IIT Guwahati said, “This year’s festival is a testament to our commitment to  celebrating the arts and promoting cultural diversity. We are excited to bring together the  best and brightest minds and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.”  The Dean of Student Affairs added, “Alcheringa is more than just a cultural festival. It is an  opportunity for us to bring together young people from all over the world to celebrate the  arts, learn from each other and create lasting memories. I am thrilled to be a part of this  year’s edition.”  The Chairman of the Cultural Board said, “Alcheringa has become a staple of the cultural  landscape in North-East India. Its continued growth and success is a testament to the hard  work and dedication of the organizing committee, and I am honored to be a part of it.” The Media and Outreach Head of Alcheringa concluded, “The team is working hard and the  work is visible to us. We aim to provide a universal platform for everyone who attends  Alcheringa, and I would also like to thank all the media persons for helping us to reach our  vision.”
