VALUE OF WATER
When the sun shines
bright in the clear blue sky
And no clouds are passing by
When cactus spreads its roots deep
in the roasted sands
in search of the liquid necter.
When the cracked land dries up
hectares after hectares.
When rain rejects to fall on the ground,
And everything is dusty all around.
When people starve out due to famine
And start claiming ” this river is mine”
When fire of thirst will not calm by coldrinks, milk or butter,
Then people will understand the true value of water.
