Dr.Ajanta Borgohain Rajkonwar appointed new Vice Chancellor of Assam Women’s University
Guwahati, August 19: The Governor of Assam and Chancellor of Assam Women’s University Prof. Jagdish Mukhi under Sub section (1) and (2) of Section 11 of the Assam Women’s University Act, 2013 (as amended up to date) has appointed Dr. Ajanta Borgohain Rajkonwar as the Vice-Chancellor of the Assam Women’s University with effect from the date of joining. She shall hold her office for a period of 5(five) years under Sub-section (5) of Section (11) of the aforesaid Act of the University. Presently, Dr. Ajanta Borgohain Rajkonwar is working as a Professor in the Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University.
