Desh Bhakti Divas observed in Raj Bhavan
Guwahati, Rongili Barta- Along with the rest of the State, Desh Bhakti Divas was observed in Raj Bhavan to commemorate Desh Bhakta Tarun Ram Phukan on his death anniversary. The First Lady of Assam Anita Kataria along with the Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor S.S.Meenakshi Sundaram and officers and staff of Raj Bhavan paid floral tributes to the portrait of Tarun Ram Phukan. The Commissioner recalled the contributions of Desh Bhakta Tarun Ram Phukan in the freedom struggle. He also said that everyone should read more about the great patriot and imbibe his qualities.
