30 young leaders meet Governor; share their aspirations and dreams
Governor asks them to dream big to help India to become Viksit
Guwahati,Rongili Barta: A delegation of 30 young leaders of the state under the banner of “Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue” called on Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhavan here this evening.
The delegation, comprising students from various parts of the state, is set to fly to New Delhi to participate in a program at Bharat Mandapam on January 11, 2025. Interacting with the young leaders, the Governor underscored the pivotal role the youth can play in shaping the nation’s future.
He said, “Your innovative ideas and fresh perspectives will significantly contribute to India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation. The youth of this country hold the power to steer India towards reclaiming its glory as Vishwaguru.”
The Governor also highlighted to the young leaders India’s rich legacy of knowledge and wisdom, stating, “India has always been recognized as a global knowledge powerhouse, respected for its ideals and lifestyle. Today, the world is adopting practices that India has upheld for centuries.
This is the moment for you to showcase your talent, potential, and determination to bring pride to both the nation and Assam.” Inspiring the young leaders further, the Governor urged them to dream big and work towards positioning both the state and the nation at the pinnacle of global recognition.
The interaction program was attended by Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor, S. S. Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary of Sports and Youth Welfare, Kausar J. Hilaly, and other officials of Raj Bhavan and the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare.
