Raj Bhavan Assam accords warm welcome to Governor designate

Guwahati,Rongili Barta- Raj Bhavan, Assam extended warm welcome to Assam Governor-designate Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya on his arrival to Raj Bhavan. Along with him, his wife Smt. Kumud Devi was also accorded a loving welcome by the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan.
It may be noted that Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya will take oath of office tomorrow that is on Tuesday at a solemn function to be held at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. He will be the 32nd Governor of the State.
Governor designate Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya hails from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and prior to his present appointment he served as the Governor of Sikkim.
