Priyanuj Saikia of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dibrugarh passed 94 per cent in Science
M Hashim Ali, Dibrugarh, Rongili Barta- Priyanuj Saikia, an herit age educational institution in Dibrugarh, who secured 94 per cent marks in Science in the recently announced Higher Secondary Final Examination, was felicitated by the students of the school today. The meeting was chaired by the Principal of the school, Nelson Anthony. The Principal described Priyanuj Saikia as the pride of the school and blessed him with success in his future life. The school has achieved a record pass rate of 100 per cent in Commerce, 97.8 per cent in Science and 97.1 per cent in Arts. This was the first group of students in the science department of the school. Priyanuj Saikia secured 94 per cent marks in Science and 100 per cent marks in Computer subject in the state. Priyanuj Saikia, who scored 97.5 per cent marks in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination, secured 100 per cent marks in Computer, 98 per cent in Chemistry, 97 per cent in Physics, 92 per cent in Mathematics, 91 per cent in Alternative English and 84 per cent in English . Priyanuj Saikia is the only son of Dr. Sashikanta Saikia, Principal of DHS Kanoi College and Riju Gogoi, Assistant Engineer, Public Works Department. It is worth mentioning that 137 candidates sat for the first time in the Science section of the Higher Secondary Final Examination from Donbosco Higher Secondary School while 134 passed. The school is delighted with the achievement of the residents of Dibrugarh. 65 out of 67 candidates passed in the Arts section and 38 out of 38 candidates passed in the Commerce section.
