Raj Bhavan Assam celebrates Independence Day
Assam Governor hoists the Tri Colour
Guwahati, Rongili Barta- Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of 77th Independence Day at Raj Bhavan. He hoisted the Tricolour in presence of the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan where the CRPF personnel presented the Guard of Honour. Later the Governor and the First Lady distributed sweets to all the staff and the family members of Raj Bhavan. The Governor greeted all the people of Assam and conveyed his warm greetings on the occasion. The First Lady of Assam Smt. Anita Kataria, Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor S.S.Meenakshi Sundaram was also present on the occasion.
