ASSAM REAL ESTATE APPELLATE TRIBUNAL STARTS FUNCTIONING FROM NEW ADDRESS
Rongili Barta- The Assam Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (REAT) today started functioning from its new address at 3rd Floor, Aditya Tower, Rukmini Gaon, G’S’Road’ Guwahati-781036′ Since its inception in February last year, the Tribunal had been functioning temporarily from the office complex of the Directorate of Country & Town Planning, Dispur,Guwahati. The new office of the Assam REAT is equipped with all facilities,required for its smooth functioning including a court room. The Tribunal has been constituted under the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development)Act,2016,It hears appeals against the decisions of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Assam or the Adjudicating officer. It has Mr. Justice (Retd.) Manojit Bhuyan as chairperson and Shri onkar Kedia as Member (Administrative)’
