GUNOTSAV-2022: QUEST FOR EXCELLENCE
Rongili Barta- The 4th phase of Gunotsav-2022 has been successfully completed from 3rd August to 6th August, 2022 in five districts of Assam namely, Cachar, Dima Hasao, Hailakandi, Hojai and South Salmara Mankachar including some left out schools of Barpeta, Kamrup, Lakhimpur and Morigaon districts.
A total of 5,20,175 (five lakh twenty thousand one hundred seventy five) students from classes to X of 6,044 (six thousand forty four) schools participated in the mega evaluation process.
Hon’ble Minister, MLA, CEM and Eook active part in the schools as External Evaluators and interacted with the students, teachers, parents/guardians, mother groups and the community members. Similarly, IAS, IPS, IFS, ACS, APS, AFS and other Grade-I & II officers of the State of Assam also took part as External Evaluators.
During the evaluation process, the External Evaluators evaluated the scholastic performance of the students both skill (reading, writing & numeracy/ basic mathematical operations) and subject areas as well as other indicators of the schools.
