54th National Convention of Company Secretaries concludes in Bhubaneswar
Rongili Barta: The 54th National Convention of Company Secretaries came to a close on 7 September 2026 in the historic city of Bhubaneswar, marking the end of three days of intense dialogue, innovative ideas, and strategic networking.
Organised on the theme, “NextGen CS – Catalyst of Growth & Guardian of Governance”, this year’s Convention brought forward discussions to establish a decisive roadmap for the NextGen Company Secretaries.
Seasoned Professionals, Industry Stalwarts, Regulators, and Policy Experts from across the country gathered to deliberate on technology integration, sustainability, market shifts, and boardroom ethics through the following Sessions:

The ICSI also highlighted its major structural milestones and regulatory progress achieved during 2023–2026 through a Special Session on the occasion.
Beyond the forward-looking strategy sessions, attendees of the Convention experienced an exhilarating musical performance by the legendary Padma Bhushan Usha Uthup, and a rich showcase of regional art through a scintillating Odissi Dance performance.
