SITA signs MoA with Cotton University, Assam Agricultural University & State Cancer Institute, GMCH
Dispur,Rongili Barta- State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA) signed three Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Cotton University, Assam Agricultural University and Gauhati Medical College & Hospital in the presence of Co-Vice Chairman Sri Dhruba Prasad Baishya at Janata Bhawan, Dispur today to implement its projects.
The MoA was signed for the projects namely (1) “Civil Services study centres at Universities and Colleges” with Cotton University, (ii) “Samriddhi Poultry- Phase ii” with Assam Agricultural University and (iii) “Molecular profiling of Breast Cancer cases in Assam for future diagnosis, prevention and therapeutic intervention” with State Cancer Institute, Gauhati Medical College. Co-Vice Chairman Sri Dhruba Prasad Baishya says that he is hopeful that each projects of SITA would surely benefit everyone in their respective objectives.
The MoA was signed by Chief Executive Officer Sri M.S Manivannan, IAS on behalf of SITA, Prof. Diganta Das, Registrar of Cotton University on behalf of Cotton University; Dr. Birendra Nath Bhattacharya, Director of Research, Veterinary, Assam Agricultural University on behalf of AAU and Dr. Muktanjalee Deka, Prof. & HoD, Department of Oncupathology on behalf of GMC. The programme was attended by Sri G.G Das, Advisor (F & A) SITA, Dr. Sangeeta Barthakur, Dr. Ruma Talukdar, Dr. Mihir Sarma, Prof. Kandarpa Kumar Saikia, Sri D.S Hazari, ARO SITA, Smt. Tandralee Bhuyan and other officials of SITA.
