Meeting of ICSI Delegates with Chief Minister of Assam
Rongili Barta- A Team of Delegates led by CS Devendra Vasant Deshpande, Hon’ble President, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India with CS Sandip Kumar Kejriwal, Central Council Member, ICSI; CS Biman Debnath, Member, EIRC of ICSI; CS Pradeep Sharma, Chairman, North Eastern Chapter of EIRC of ICSI; CS Nikhil Jain Gangwal, Vice-Chairman and Secretary, NE Chapter; CS Raj Kumar Sharma, Past Chairman, NE Chapter; CS Bishal Harlalka, Past Chairman, NE Chapter met the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in his Office on 10th April 2022.
The Meeting discussed the matters like Employment opportunity of Company Secretaries in State PSUs; Presenting Model Governance Code for Meetings of Gram Panchayat; Career Awareness Programmes on Company Secretary Course and Company Secretary Profession in all Educational Institutes of the State; Opening of ICSI Study Centers in various Colleges & Universities of the State; Academic Collaboration with the Universities of the State; and many more.
The Meeting was very successful and the Hon’ble Chief Minister extended positive response to the proposal of ICSI.
