K.C Das Commerce College and SITA signs MoA for student’s career guidance
Dispur,Rongili Barta- With an aim to create awareness among the students of Assam and to impart the knowledge of career planning and development through workshops and relevant interventions and to conduct career guidance in colleges of Kamrup (M) and Kamrup district, a Memorandum of Agreement(MoA) was signed today between State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA) and K.C Das Commerce College, Guwahati on the project namely “Workshop on creating awareness on career planning and development” in the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chairman Sri Ramen Deka and Co-Vice Chairman Sri Dhruba Prasad Baishya at Janata Bhawan, Dispur. The MoA was signed by Sri M. S Manivannan, IAS on behalf of SITA and Dr. Hrishikesh Baruah on behalf of K.C Das Commerce College, Guwahati respectively. SITA’s collaborating partner K.C Das Commerce College who will be implementing the project with EnrichMyCareer as its partner will be working to empower the youth by helping them discover their strength to develop skills and walk the right career path thereby making them job-ready, growth oriented, entrepreneurial and contributors to the economy. The project is aiming mainly to create awareness among the graduating students of the state to improve their skills and employability to build rewarding careers. Others who were present in the MoA signing programme were Sri Guna Gobinda Das, Advisor (F&A), Sri D.S Hazari, ARO, Sri Dipankar Bora, LO and Sri Narendra Sarawgi.
