The Dibrugarh District Administration, along with the police, ensured no untoward incidents, allowing voters to exercise their franchise freely. Out of a total of 10,15,515 eligible voters in the Dibrugarh Election District, 7,89,765 exercised their voting rights. Of these, 4,03,056 were female voters and 3,86,708 were male voters, with one transgender voter.The voting percentage in Dibrugarh Election District varied across constituencies, with the highest turnout of 94.71% recorded in the Chabua-Lahowal Assembly Constituency and the lowest turnout of 38.90% in the Duliajan Assembly Constituency.In the Chabua-Lahowal Assembly Constituency, out of 1,74,595 eligible voters, 1,37,730 cast their votes (males: 67,703, females: 70,027). In the Dibrugarh Assembly Constituency, out of 1,90,833 eligible voters, 1,46,479 cast their votes (males: 71,341, females: 75,138). In the Khumtai Assembly Constituency, out of 1,54,312 eligible voters, 1,22,575 cast their votes (males: 60,244, females: 62,330, and one transgender voter). In the Duliajan Assembly Constituency, out of 1,72,584 eligible voters, 1,29,858 cast their votes (males: 64,241, females: 65,617). In the Naharkatia Assembly Constituency, out of 1,54,374 eligible voters, 1,17,515 cast their votes (males: 57,775, females: 59,740).The Dibrugarh Election District administration expresses gratitude and thanks to all stakeholders for their cooperation in conducting the elections peacefully.
