Byatikram MASDO successfully hosted the Prestigious 3rd Edition of Byatikram Health Conclave 2024
Guwahati, Rongili Barta: Byatikram MASDO, a leading social organization in Northeast India, has successfully hosted the Byatikram Health Conclave 2024 for the third time. The event was held on December 15 at Hotel Taj Vivanta, Khanapara, Guwahati, starting from 10 am onwards, aimed to foster knowledge-sharing, interdisciplinary learning, and collaboration in the healthcare sector.
The program commenced with a Satriya dance by Mohor Das Purkasyastha. The event was inaugurated by notable dignitaries, including Padma Shri Dr. Ilias Ali, Manisha Hazarika (Eminent Singer), Shruti Dutta Borkotoky (Entrepreneur), Actress Nishita Goswami, Anindya Sen Majumdar,Vice President, NEPHRO Care & Vivacity, Babul Ali, Executive President, NEPNI Group of Institutions, Dr. Harsha Bhattacharjee, Renowned Ophthalmologist, Razvee Hussain, Retired Commissioner Tourism, Achyut Patawary, Associate Editor, Asamiya Pratidin and Dr Saumen Bharatiya, President,Byatikram MASDO.
Addressing the gathering, Padma Shri Dr. Ilias Ali remarked, “This conclave will establish significant linkages in the health sector within the Northeast and beyond.”
Eminent singer Manisha Hazarika praised Byatikram MASDO for its exceptional initiatives and dedication over the past 18 years.
The event was officially inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp and a tribute to the late Dr. Anindita Patwari. Renowned journalist Achyut Patwari, uncle of Dr. Anindita Patwari, joined the dignitaries in laying flowers at her portrait and expressed gratitude to Byatikram MASDO for dedicating the event in her memory. A minute of silence was observed to honor the social contributions of the late Prof. Mihir Kanti Choudhury and poet Mira Thakur.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Byatikram Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 to Dr. Bhabananda Das for his exceptional contributions to healthcare. Dr. Das expressed his gratitude, saying, “This recognition is not only a personal honor but a testament to the tireless efforts of my colleagues, mentors, and family who have supported me throughout my journey.”
Excellence awards were also presented to prominent professionals, including Dr. Harsh Bhattacharjee (Ophthalmologist), Babul Ali (Founder, Nepni Group of Institutes), Dr. Bedabrata Pathak (Chairman and Co-Managing Director, Gate Hospital), Dr. Sharadi Shreemoyee (Aesthetician and Cosmetologist), Dr. Rupam Chowdhury (Consultant Physician and Diabetologist), and Dr. Ira Biswas (Director, North East Polyclinic).
