Assam Governor felicitates Shri H. Krishna Kumar Singha

Guwahati,Rongili Barta: Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya today felicitated Shri H. Krishna Kumar Singha, under Amar Mati Amar Nayak scheme of Lok Bhavan, at Jugijan in Hojai district.

It may be noted that Amar Mati Amar Nayak is an initiative of Lok Bhavan, Assam, aimed at honouring exemplary individuals who have made significant contributions to the welfare and upliftment of society.

Shri Singha an educationist and social worker, has made outstanding contributions to heritage preservation and the socio-cultural life of the region. Lauding his lifelong service, the Governor described him as a guiding light for society and said that such exemplary lives inspire future generations to work selflessly for social good.

The Governor presented Shri Singha with a certificate of appreciation along with a gamosa, xorai, jaapi, food basket, and a blanket.

Earlier, the Governor interacted with senior citizens, school students, and beneficiaries of various government schemes at Rajbari Tombapujini ME School, Jugijan. He reviewed the implementation of key welfare initiatives and expressed satisfaction over the effective reach of flagship schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Jal Jeevan Mission, commending the district administration for its efforts.
