Assam Governor condoles the death of former Governor P.B. Acharya
Guwahati, Rongili Barta- Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria condoled the demise of former Governor Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya. In his condolence message, Shri Kataria said, “I express my deep condolences over the demise of former Governor of Assam and Nagaland Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya. Late Acharya was very dedicated who completely devoted him to the noble cause of serving and uplifting the people”. The Governor said that he was a very simple man and through his simplicity he solved various critical issues. He was also a keen observer and being the Governor of Assam and Nagaland, he rendered his hands for the development of the both states. Shri Kataria moreover said that Late Acharya’s departure leaves a void, a loss keenly felt by the nation. He served the state with deep commitment and love for the people. His death is an irreparable loss to the country. “I convey my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty to be with the bereaved family members. May his soul rest in peace”, the Governor added.
