Co-Vice Chairman Dhruba Prasad Baishya inaugurates project of SITA at B.N College of Dhubri
Dispur, Rongili Barta- State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA) Co-Vice Chairman Sri Dhruba Prasad Baishya inaugurated B.N College Civil Services Study Centre at Dhubri today which is a funded project of SITA at a function held at the B.N College campus at Dhubri. Co-Vice Chairman also handed over the first installment to carry out the funded project to the Principal of B.N College Sri Dhruba Chakrabortty. Speaking on the occasion, Co-Vice Chairman Dhruba Prasad Baishya spoke at length the various initiatives undertaken by SITA and the present project he hoped would benefit the students a lot in their pursued for civil services. As a centre for Civil Service is being set up here, he asked the authorities and students to take full advantage of the project so that students of the district may achieve success in the civil service examinations. It is worth mentioning that the project of SITA will be carried out on pilot basis where four colleges of Assam have been selected. The project will also provide proper infrastructure such as study materials. Today’s programme was attended by Smt. Rozy Rani Sarmah(APS) Addl. S.P (HB) Dhubri, Sri Rajat Pal (IPS) Addl.S.P, Sri D. Bhattacharjee, President Governing Body of B.N College, Sri D.S Hazari, ARO,SITA, Sri Alakesh Kakati, ARO, SITA , students and faculty members of B.N College and many students of other colleges of Dhubri.
