Assam Governor extends Durga Puja wishes to the people
Guwahati, Rongili Barta- Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the people on the occasion of Durga Puja. In a message to the people of the Nation and Assam in particular the Governor said, “Durga is the mother of Universe who is the personification of tender love, wealth, power, beauty and all virtues. Durga Puja marks the eternal essence of victory of good over evil and usher in hope and a bright future. I hope that the festivity strengthens the spirit of unity to fight against all evils.” He also said, “May the darshan of resplendent Goddess Durga fill everybody’s life with devotion, compassion and love.”
