Shankar Lall Goenka conferred with Byatikram Lifetime Achievement Award 2024
Rongili Barta- Byatikram MASDO, a premier socio-cultural organization in Assam, proudly conferred the Byatikram Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 on the eminent filmmaker and philanthropist Shankar Lall Goenka. The grand ceremony took place on December 3 at 4 PM at Hotel Vishwaratna, Guwahati, in the presence of distinguished personalities from Assam and the North East.
The prestigious award was presented in recognition of Shankar Lall Goenka’s extraordinary contributions to society and the film industry. His achievements as a filmmaker, social worker, and cultural advocate have left an indelible mark, making him a beacon of inspiration for generations. This special occasion also coincided with his birthday, adding to the significance of the celebration.
The event was graced by several renowned figures from the Assamese film industry including Rima Das, Filmmaker & Director; Seema Biswas, Actor, Manisha Hazarika, Singer; Nishita Goswami, Actor; Kapil Bora, Actor; and other walks of life, making it a fitting tribute to an individual whose work continues to enrich both the cultural and social fabric of the region.

The event began with the formal presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Shri Shankar Lall Goenka by Rima Das, Seema Biswas, Manisha Hazarika; Dr. AC Kotoky; Minu Bania; Arun Hazarika; and Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, President of Byatikram MASDO.
