SCIENCE EXHBITION 2024 AT ROYAL GLOBAL SCHOOL (GRADES I-XII)

GUWAHATI,Rongili Barta– Royal Global School, Guwahati hosted the Science Exhibition 2024, a vibrant event that truly brought the campus to life. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and STEM, students worked diligently in groups to create projects that addressed a wide range of global challenges. The chief guest of the occasion, Dr. Sofia Banu, Associate Professor in the Department of Bioengineering and Technology at Guwahati University visited each and every project and said, “I’m grateful to the school for the invitation and the opportunity to interact with such bright individuals. It was a truly inspiring experience to witness the innovative ideas and explanations presented by the students at the Royal Global School Science Exhibition. The young minds showcased exceptional creativity and knowledge. Thank you, Royal Global School.” 

The atmosphere was lively and motivated, with parents arriving in large numbers to view the projects presented in each classroom. Students explained their work with zeal and enthusiasm, clearly proud of their contributions. The senior school showcased projects on AI, such as Games, Chatbots, and Text-to-Image Generators, along with innovative approaches to Sustainable Development Goals like Biofuel and Radiotherapy. There were also thought-provoking projects on the bright and dark sides of Nuclear Science, Molecular Gastronomy, the Large Hadron Collider, the harmful effects of Microplastics, Affordable and Clean Energy like the Windmill, and the Black Hole theory.

Middle school students focused on key SDGs such as climate change, global warming, and good health and well-being. Their projects demonstrated a deep understanding of these issues and offered potential solutions. The primary school students displayed their creativity and curiosity through projects that explored topics like life below water, zero hunger, and the elements of nature (land, air, water, and space). They also presented projects on basic human needs, including food, clothing, and renewable energy. The exhibition’s success was further enhanced by the participation of students from other schools who visited and interacted with IRIS, the AI teacher robot at Royal Global School. IRIS impressed everyone by answering their curious questions with precision and clarity, showcasing the technological edge of the school. The event highlighted Royal Global School’s commitment to fostering scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a passion for making a positive impact on the world.
