Prof. Robin Kakati and Shri Simanta Kumar Baishya elected as State President and State Secretary of ABVP Assam Pradesh 2021-22
Prof. Robin Kakoti (Lakhimpur) and Shri Simanta Kumar Baishya (Rangia, Kamrup Rural) have been elected unopposed as State President and State Secretary respectively of nation’s leading student organization Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Assam Pradesh for the year 2021-22. This announcement was made today from the State Office of ABVP Assam Pradesh,Guwahati. According to the statement issued by the Election Officer Shri Sishu Ranjan Das from the State office of ABVP, the tenure of both the posts will be of one year and both the office bearers will assume their responsibility during the 27th State Conference of ABVP scheduled to be held in Nagaon on 09 January 2021. Prof. Robin Kakati basically belongs to Lakhimpur City, Lakhimpur, Assam. He has
been associated with ABVP since 2017. He is working as Associate Professor and Head of Department of Education in “Lakhimpur Girls College” Lakhimpur, Assam. He was Jila Pramukh of Lakhimpur district from 2017 to 2020 and State Vice-President from 2020. He has been elected as State President for his session (2021-22). Shri Simanta Kumar Baishya Hails from Rangia, Kamrup Rural. He has Completed his Graduation in Management. He has been associated with ABVP since 2011 and has been a Full-Timer Karyakarta Since 2015. He has held the responsibility of City Secretary, City Vistarak, District Organising Secretary of Golaghat and Goalpara, Vibhag Organising Secretary of Tura (Meghalaya). He has been elected as the State Secretary of ABVP Assam for this session (2021-22)
