Morning Koffee Anthology Launched in Guwahati Amid Literary Enthusiasm

Guwahati, Rongili Barta- The much-anticipated anthology Morning Koffee, a collection of English poems and short stories, was successfully launched on March 22, 2026, at CCRT, Juripar, Panjabari, Guwahati, in the presence of distinguished guests and literature enthusiasts.

The event was graced by eminent Guests of Honour including Ms. Hemashri Hazarika, ACS, Additional Secretary; Mr. Dipanjol Deka, Secretary – Tea Association of India (Assam Branch) and Hon. Secretary – North East Writers Forum (NEWF); and Mr. Shashank Kumar Pandey, Field Officer – CCRT.

The anthology, edited by veteran poet Anurag Talukdar, brings together voices of both emerging and established writers, exploring diverse themes of life, love, and the human experience. He said the anthology aims to encourage new writers and promote a culture of reading.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Hemashri Hazarika highlighted that writing can be therapeutic and serve as a powerful medium of self-expression. Mr. Dipanjol Deka emphasized the need to promote literary works by authors from Assam and the Northeast across the rest of the country and beyond. Mr. Shashank Kumar Pandey highlighted the importance of reading in understanding cultures and societies.

The launch event featured an engaging meet and greet session followed by poetry recitations by contributors, creating a vibrant atmosphere of creativity and expression. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from writers, readers, and members of the literary community, marking it as a memorable celebration of literature in Guwahati.

Morning Koffee is a joint initiative by Book Culture and Wissenmonk Publication.
