Governor inaugurates the newly renovated Arya Pathshala as a Happy School
Guwahati,Rongili Barta- Assam Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated the renovated Arya Pathshala as a happy school, a noble initiative by the Rotary Club of Guwahati Metro in the city. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony the Governor said that, established in 1935, the school has nurtured many bright students. “I compliment the Rotary Club for its noble endeavor in nurturing the students. May the students of Arya Pathshala continue to excel in their studies, embracing both knowledge and virtue, to help them to contribute to Viksit Bharat.” The Governor emphasized the noble nature of the teaching profession, highlighting the profound satisfaction teachers derive from nurturing and educating the students. He said that teachers play a pivotal role in shaping society by educating the future leaders of the country. The values instilled in students will significantly impact their contributions to the betterment of society. Governor Kataria also spoke about India’s rich heritage as a land of knowledge and wisdom, citing the historical significance of institutions like Nalanda and Takshashila Universities, which attracted scholars from around the world. He underscored the importance of a conducive school environment, noting that students’ holistic development is closely linked to the facilities provided in educational institutions. He commended the Rotary Club of Guwahati Metro for its exemplary work in renovating this school. The Governor moreover highlighted the importance of connecting schools not only with students but also with their parents and community members who wish to contribute positively to the qualitative development of education. He suggested that many important issues can be resolved through effective networking with social organizations and altruistic individuals. He on the occasion asked the school authorities to maintain records of their students’ achievements, emphasizing that a robust alumni network is crucial for the long-term success of educational institutions.
