Governor flags off IRCSN ambulance in Nagaland
Guwahati, Rongili Barta: Assam and Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi who is also the President of Indian Red Cross Society, flagged-off a new ambulance of IRCSN at Raj Bhavan, Kohima today.
It may be mentioned that Nagaland is one of the recipients among the various states to receive a new ambulance from the National Headquarter (NHQ) of Indian Red Cross Society and International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC).
The ambulance will provide Basic Life Support services for rendering humanitarian services and is equipped with facilities for oxygen administration, suction machine, I.V drip, air condition facilities etc. Moreover, the services of a qualified nurse has also been recruited to attend the emergency needs of the patient inside the ambulance.
