Governor attends oath taking of the elected members of the KAAC
Guwahati, Rongili Barta: Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi in the presence of the Chief Minister Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the oath-taking ceremony of the elected members of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) at a function held at Taralangshu in Diphu .
It may be noted that after registering landslide victory in the recently concluded elections to the Council, the members were sworn.
The Governor extended congratulations to each member of KAAC and said that he is confident that they will devote themselves to uphold the democracy and overall development of the people of the region.
