Governor attends a program of Shri Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha

Guwahati,Rongili Barta- Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria along with the First Lady Anita Kataria attended a programme  of Shri Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha  on the topic ‘How to serve the nation and the sangh”( Kaise kare rashtra avam sangh ki sewa)  held at Fancy bazaar in the city today. The programme was attended by Sadhwi Suwarnarekhaji, a spiritual leader and a disciple of  Acharya Shri Mahashraman ji. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that he was very happy to be able to see Sadhvishreeji and listen to her discourse.  “I consider myself extremely fortunate that by meeting the company of such virtuous souls, one attains peace of mind. Sacrifice, penance and non-violence have been considered paramount in Jain philosophy.” added the Governor. The Governor also said that the message of non-violence preached by Acharya Shri Mahashramanji is letting people get the essence of peace. The main goal of his yatra is goodwill, morality and drug de-addiction, so that the young generation of the country can take inspiration. Throwing lights on the topic “How to serve the nation and the union”, Kataria said that it is the ultimate responsibility of every human being to work in the interest of his home, family, society and nation. Only the work done with utmost dedication would help in nation building. Therefore, one should always be ready for making contributions to nation building. The Governor also said, “In order to give the right direction to the youth, we should inspire our children to follow the path suggested by the sages and intellectuals. We should create a generation that is full of patriotism. We should also create a landscape for our new generation to know about the contribution of our patriots. We should spread education,  move forward with scientific thinking. True national service is to have a sense of dedication towards nation building”. President of Terapanthi Sabha Bajrang Kumar Surana and other office bearers along with the devotees attended the discourse of Sadhwi Suwarnarekha ji.
