Full Day Seminar (Navchetna) by Siliguri Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India
Rongili Barta- The Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of ICSI successfully conducted a Full-Day Seminar (Navchetna) on Latest Updates on Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) on 4th January 2025. The event was held at the Siliguri Chapter premises from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The seminar featured eminent speakers, CA Sudipta Bhattacharjee and CA Hemant Agarwal, who shared their valuable expertise on these pertinent topics, providing insightful updates and discussions. The Siliguri Chapter had the honor to have CS Rupanjana De, Central Council Member, ICSI, and Mentor of the Siliguri Chapter, as well as CS (Dr.) Mohit Shaw, Chairman, EIRC of ICSI, who joined virtually and addressed the participants with their encouraging words. The Welcome Address was delivered by CS Vikash Mittal, Chairman of the Siliguri Chapter. During the inaugural session, CS (Dr.) Pintu Prasad Jaiswal, Vice-Chairman, Siliguri Chapter, gave the Special Address. The dignitaries present on and off the dais had the honor of releasing the 3rd Half-Yearly E-Newsletter of the Siliguri Chapter. The Vote of Thanks for the inaugural session was extended by CS Nitin Gupta, Past Chairman of the Siliguri Chapter. The seminar saw enthusiastic participation from various CS Members, including CS Khushboo Goyal, CS Neerupama Kabra, Past Chairpersons, and CS Amit Kumar Goyal, Treasurer of the Siliguri Chapter, along with a few students. In the spirit of celebrating the New Year, the event concluded with a delightful cake-cutting ceremony for all the participants. The event was seamlessly coordinated by CS Pragya Jaiswal. CS Heena Sharma delivered the formal Vote of Thanks of the Event.
