Eid: A Festival of brotherhood and a Righteous duty

The Islamic law of life is the Qur’an and Hadith. There are five pillars of Islam. They are the Kolimah, prayers, fasting, Hajj and Zakat. These are essential for the Islamic society. A person who does not do these things is called a hypocrite. That is, to be a teacher without teaching, to be a lawyer without being an advocate. In addition to Kolemah (ie, belief in the Oneness of Allah), four other foundations are required. Fasting is an important act of worship after prayer. The Qur’an declares, “O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become pious.”
Like other worships in Islam, fasting has undergone some revolutionary changes. Its strong widespread impact is evident at all levels of society. The most important reform is the conceptual change towards sacrifice. To the Jews, fasting was a symbol of pain and sorrow. Islam does not accept this misconception. In the view of Islam, Sacrifice is a universal act of worship that gives the fasting person relative vitality, purity of heart and purity of thought. Through this sacrifice, the one who fasts, get an unearthly taste, a new inspiration. In an instant, it makes a person disgusted with pleasure, and strong in self-confidence. It is mentioned in the book of Al-Hadith that Allah says, “The Sacrifice is only for us and I will repay it Myself.”
According to all previous religions, fasting occurs according to the existence of solar month. This requires in-depth knowledge and scholarship about solar. In addition, fasting is observed at the same time every year in a specific month due to the solar year. However, Islam makes fasting obligatory in the month of Moon instead of the solar month. “Observe the obligation when you see the moon, finish it when you see the moon” (Tibmizi Shareef). As a result of the association of fasting with the lunar month, anyone anywhere in the world can easily observe the fast. The seasons change slowly during Ramadan due to the lunar month. Sometimes the month of Ramadan comes in summer, sometimes in winter and spring. This change of seasons brings a taste of novelty to the fasting people. Therefore, it is important to understand the importance of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Islam means peace. Islam is a comprehensive religion in harmony with human and nature. The advancement of modern science has proved the reality and necessity of the disciplines of the Shari’ah (exemplary code of conduct). Science does not say that the discipline of Islam is wrong. The statements of the Holy Qur’an about the solar system have been proved one by one. Yet these are warnings from fourteen years ago.
Fasting establishes control over instincts. The external forces are suppressed, the character is purified. Because hunger and thirst weaken the biological and animal instincts of man. Humanity is awakened and the heart rejoices. Medical science has declared the physical disciplines of Islam to be beneficial for health. Many medical scientists believe that fasting for one month a year is not only beneficial but also essential for humans. According to medical scientists, fasting boosts the body’s immune system. It plays an important role in the health of the body’s digestive system.
Among the foods we probably eat, meat, protein and fatty substances are digested and absorbed in the body and enter the liver in the form of glucose. Therefore, not all of the glucose produced in the human body is consumed daily. Some glucose flows from the liver into the bloodstream to keep the body’s motor energy efficient. The rest is stored in the liver muscle as glycogen. Some of it becomes fat and accumulates under the skin and elsewhere in the body. Stored glucose and fat are converted back into glucose during fasting and flow through the bloodstream. This converted glucose doubles the body’s heat and energy. Fasting helps to consume glycogen and fat as needed. This increases the strength and efficiency of the body. Harmful fats cannot accumulate. Obesity is reduced and the body is well formed.
Marmaduke William Pickthall said there was no doubt about the benefits of fasting even at the height of civilization. The practice of Fasting is an excellent means of seeing the regret of labor. According to Dr. R. Casford, Fasting is an excellent digestive aid. According to Chairman DF Fort, fasting is one of the means of self-purification and restraint, through which one can gain the knowledge and closeness of the Creator, it is an easy way to maintain health, avoid violence, hatred and evil tendencies. Dr. DWEA writes that fasting has been shown to cure ulcers, enlarged liver, various bladder symptoms, lung problems, frequent coughs, pneumonia, colds and influenza, etc. Fasting stimulates the nervous system of the brain. Even paralysis heals faster because of fasting. Mental energy and special feelings are awakened. Memory is increased. Spiritual energy emerges. In Islamic society, the level of charity and zakat and almsgiving also increases.
In fact, Eid-ul-Fitr is a festival associated with the fasting of Ramadan. Every ethnic group or community in the world has its own festival. This festival is associated with an event. Eid is important for fasting. Eid is a very popular festival among Muslims all over the world. Eid socially means a festival of joy and literally means returning or returning again and again. Everyone can assert equal rights in Islamic law. There is no place for rich and poor, black and white. Every year, the festival comes back and brings a message of equality, friendship and harmony. It is sacrifice, not enjoyment, that makes human life great. The best people are the ones who can make each other their own with the bond of brotherhood, not with discrimination. It is not peace to live happily ever after by spreading violence and hatred in society. True peace is to be able to give an atmosphere of peace to oneself and others.
Hence, after a long month of fasting, Eid-ul-Fitr comes. Everyone, rich and poor, high and low, participates in this festival. In this country of mixed cultures, Muslims as well as people of other religions celebrate the festival together. Muslims also actively participate in all aspects of Bihu-Puja. In this way, the atmosphere of unity amidst diversity is created by the people of both Hindu and Muslim communities. In this way, the cultures of both nourish both.
There are many reasons why Hindus and Muslims come together during Eid-Bihu to keep alive the seven-generation relationship with each other. Hindu land donation for cemeteries and Muslim land donation for temples still exist in Assam. The students of the school, Hazrat, Jayant, Jhakeya and Parvati, all play and laugh together. Teachers are the craftsmen of building people, they teach without discrimination of caste or race. However, due to narrow mindedness, we cannot accept the marriage of children of both communities. When a person needs blood, desperate efforts are made to revive the patient regardless of caste, Hindu or Muslim.
We must understand that the bonds of harmony are our strength. There are many ways in which you can improve your self-confidence, but the most important thing is to improve your self-confidence. There are many ways in which you can improve your self-confidence.
The discriminators of society are constantly thinking against others with their perverted minds. Some evil forces are always trying to develop our discriminatory attitudes. It is the duty of people of both communities to resist this. We must strengthen our bonds of harmony as human beings by throwing away the identity of majority and minority. This holy Eid is not just a community festival but everyone must cross the bridge hand in hand in harmony. Political hypocrisy must be abandoned in this regard. The Eid appeal of the Indian sage Qazi Nazrul Islam, one of the greatest proponents of the anti-communal movement of all time – “At the end of that fast in Ramadhan, Joyous Eid came. You give Yourself Today, to embrace the Superior’s Message”
