Celebration of the Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore at Dibrugarh, 9th May, Staff Reporter

M. Hashim Ali,Dibrugarh,Rongili Barta-   On May 8th, like any other places in the country, the Nobel laureate and poet Rabindranath Tagore’s 164th birth anniversary was celebrated at Dibrugarh. The India Club of Dibrugarh took the initiative to celebrate Rabindranath Tagore’s birth anniversary by organizing cultural events such as Rabindra Sangeet and dance performances. The Mayor of Dibrugarh Municipality, Dr. Saukat Patra along with the President of the Dibrugarh India Club, Mr Teerth Chakravarty, and many distinguished personalities, participated in the event.
