Assam Yoga Ambassador’s Exposure visit to Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi
Rongili Barta- The National Ayush Mission, Assam has conducted Assam Yoga Competition 2022 among the winners of District Level Yoga Competition which was organized as a part of celebration of 8th International Day of Yoga 2022 at Guwhati on 27th December 2022. As per the commitment made by National Ayush Mission, Assam has taken the winners who were also declared as “Brand Ambassador of Yoga” to the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi for exposure visit on 27th April 2023. The team consists of Sri Bornil Hazarika, winner of Group I( upto 10 years of Age), Sri Sayon Karmakar, Winner of Group II (10 years above to 18 years), Sri Dipankar Baruah, Winner of Group III (18 years above to 35 years) and Sri Kaushik Das Winner of Group IV (35 years above). The faculties of Moorarji Desai National Institute of Yoga has demonstrated some basic skills of Yoga and delivered lectures on Career prospect of Yoga. The brand ambassadors demonstrated Yoga asana in front of faculties and students of the institute which was highly appreciated by all. The students of the institute performed a fusion of Yoga asana with Music which an innovation of Yoga. The authority of the institute also informed that Assam is the only state to conduct such type of initiative to give exposure to young aspirant students to pursue their career on Yoga.
