Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya Bids Farewell to Outgoing DGP G.P. Singh
Guwahati,Rongili Barta: Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya gave a warm farewell to the outgoing Director General of Police (DGP) G.P. Singh at Raj Bhavan this evening. He congratulated him on his new assignment as the Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Shri Acharya expressed his appreciation for Singh’s dedication to the state of Assam and wished him all the best in all his future endeavors. The Governor also lauded Singh’s contributions to maintaining law and order in Assam. Singh, in his capacity as the DGP, worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the people of Assam.
The farewell programme was attended by the spouse of DGP Dr. Anamika Singh, Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor S.S. Meenakshi Sundaram along with the officers of Raj Bhavan.
