Assam Governor greets people on Kali Puja and Deepawali
Guwahati,Rongili Barta- Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria extended his greetings to the people of Assam on the joyous occasion of Kali Puja and Deepawali. The Governor said may the divine blessings of Maa Kali bring joy peace and prosperity to the people of the state. Shri Kataria also said, “Deepawali is the festival of lights which signifies the victory of righteousness over the evil. The festival also dispels darkness to pave ways to wisdom”. The Governor also said, “May this festival of lights be the harbinger of peace, joy and prosperity to ward off all darkness from our state to strengthen the bond of unity, amity and brotherhood amidst us”. The Governor urged upon the people to make this festival of lights a reason to make Assam cleaner and greener and celebrate a pollution free Deepawali.
