Assam Governor greets people on Id-ul-Zuha
Guwahati, Rongili Barta- Governor of Assam Shri Gulab Chand Kataria has extended his heartiest greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of the holy festival of Islam Id-ul-Zuha.Shri Kataria said, “I extend my heartiest greetings and warm wishes to the Muslim brethrens of the state on the occasion of Id-ul-Zuha, the feast of sacrifice. I also appeal to the people to regenerate the sense of sacrifice, empathy, and gratitude for one another and work for strengthening the bond of universal brotherhood.” He further said that the celebration of Id-ul-Zuha is marked by prayer, charity, and sharing joy with family and friends. May the holy day fortify the long- standing tradition of amity and communal harmony apart from strengthening the existing bond of friendship.
