Assam Governor condoles former Minister Sarat Borkotoky’s death
Guwahati, Rongili Barta- Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria condoled the demise of former Minister Sarat Borkotoky who died today. He termed the death of the Minister as a great loss to the state. In a statement here today, Shri Kataria said that known for his simple living and undiluted commitment, late Borkotoky dedicated his life for the cause of the common people. The man who served the society passionately and dedicatedly, also rendered his valuable services for the betterment of all sections of the society. As a minister who held different portfolios, he also contributed substantially to good governance and development of the state. The Governor also conveyed his empathy to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul.
